Statement of Intend

Successfully passing Level 1 and 2, am on Level 3 now. As I have already 2 Certificates mine intend is this time to go for Diploma. That’s a lot more work to do, but it will be helpful for me as I moving towards higher Level 4 in the future.

As Diploma involves much more work I’m thinking to extend the pleasure of learning for whole year and not just for 16 weeks. Already spoken with my tutor we agree that I`ll be doing one Certificate now and after that building my credits up to Diploma standards. So its sounds like a plan and time is ticking from now on.

I choose to do LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN PHOTOGRAPHY -what consist with fallowing units:

  • Unit 201     Introduction to the photo imaging industry
  • Unit 205     Photo imagining equipment and materials
  • Unit 304     Legislation for the Photo imaging industry
  • Unit 305     Photo image capture
  • Unit 309     Photo image storage
  • Unit 310     Photo image output
  • Unit 211     Photo image presentation
  • Unit 212     Working to a photo imagining project brief
  • Unit 215     Digital image manipulation
  • Unit 307     Location Photography
But to start with, I have to do my Certificate first which is: LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATE IN PHOTO IMAGING

Mandatory units
  • Unit 205     Photo imagining equipment and materials
  • Unit 310     Photo image output
  • Unit 211     Photo image presentation
  • Unit 212     Working to a photo imagining project brief
Optional units
  • Unit 307     Location Photography

So all together its will be ten units – five now and five after- on second term. I am very excited already. So wish me luck everyone. Will do my best.

A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety.  ~

One year is past…Did I learn something…yes and no…Yes…I know lots of technical stuff, composition, some other details…. No…I still don’t have a clue where I’m heading…which will be my part of photography… Compering myself with others - photographers, students, amateurs, I feel sad as I nothing like them, nothing what I should be…researching, subscribing materials, taking pictures all the time 24/7. Probably I have different way of thinking, living and expressing myself. I love taking pictures, love to capture a moments of time, love to my small world what appears trough my cameras viewfinder, but probably unfortunately I’m not daze with that…. and that’s bad, I think. My problem is that I always know what I won’t and same as my photographs are taken in locations chosen by me not by a meter of luck.

In summer I went back to my country hoping to get the best photographs’ possible as I was waiting for that moment for so long. Unfortunately I wasn’t so lucky with weather and my mood as well. I did bring back some, but nothing I was hoping for. I learn that same as art also photography is more or less affected by inspiration…by how you feel and what you think.

All summer I was waiting to get back to college and now I’m back…I have lots of ideas, lots of work to do, I hope I get back my inspiration and somehow start looking for the right path…
