For me is the best image as I took, from all lot…and it wasn’t planed that way. I was walking by The Parliament buildings, Big Ben just appeared and I just have to have it. My ISO is 400 and I don’t know way…like I said it was brief image taken just passing by, what turned to be the best one. That’s reminds me same story from last spring, when by a chance taken bluebell was the best that I ever took. So yes…so I considering that as a best one and put it as a cover image for Calendar.
I cropped in Photoshop to make it A4 size (as all others), adjusted: sharpness, contrast and slightly vigneted (make it darken at the edges) so it look better at it was. Sky was dull and rainy that day, so no any cloud formations or sky patterns I didn’t get. Vignete tool makes photograph with some sort of stamp with the contrast.

Second as a January! First photograph, taken in London,  back then. I just like the numbers in order on the blue background. Originally - some house or flat building number. It’s looked very good to me and also taking notice that’s very suits to January as all starts again…1 2 3 ….
Didn’t done much, well as I’m saying, Landscape postproduction, was a lot less. I just know that Images will be printed out so I had to make them look presentable. In this particular image, a bit of Focal B&W tool from my HP.

Also one of my favourites, taken in ST Pancras Rail station - small part of big sculpture.  I used telephoto lens to get close sharp image of faces. Not the best idea considering that I wasn’t using tripod, but as light allow me so, why not. I wish I was so good at life people portraits.
Same post-production – crop, Focus B&W.

April, not particularly keen on that image, but its nicely shows Big Ben from different angle. Same brief passing by image, didn’t even concentrate. I’m sometimes find myself in place that I can do good images working hard, set up scene, wait for a perfect light, plan and organize a shoot, but also seems to me that point and shoot images, even if I using Manual control turns out to be the right ones.

Cars - as a June…that was a challenge…not far from Oxford street was some sort of exhibition of old cars, people was all over and I had to work in different angles to get what I was hoping…no persons just cars. I’m not bad on street photography, but somehow, I like to keep away from people – hard to explain why.
In my point of view, good photograph, as taken from lower angle, creating perfect composition appear of many.

Maybe original was a bit better, but I had to make all my finals similar, as colour wise so as effect wise.

Haven’t been London for a wile was really surprised by new invention – bike hire. Very handy and environment friendly transport, especially in London, when traffic never stops.

Had to do a big crop with this particular photograph, as was lot distraction around. In original, you can see that my main focus point was bikes, but taken with kit lens it appear lots of different things as cars, buses, passing pedestrians, and image become full of everything what wasn’t my intend.

Like the composition of this one – past and present.  Wasn’t really trying, but I pleased with result – colour contrast between ordinary and extraordinary. If I have to be honest I don’t really know what that green build is, but definitely everybody recognizes the London Eye. Expensive attraction, with love captured by everyone, so I thought,  that green, sad, whatever it is thing also deserve to be on top spot.

Had to crop as all, Focus B&W, also in Photoshop filled in some imperfections, as stickers and time marks. Unfortunately didn`t spotted somehow writing and it’s there for keep.

As I love composition like that I couldn’t past them leaves, what was all over the pavement that Sunday morning. Sky was dull and no any changes for better scenario in weather. So all I can do just capture little parts of London, what no one’s even notices.

Cropped, added Focal B&W and in the calendar - as September, the perfect fit for that month.

Sherlock Homes museum…nearest what I ever been to that place, unfortunately always passing, as London have so much to offer that you just can’t be everywhere.
Photograph taken just after sunset, when you can still use a natural light and also lights from lamp posts are a good source.
I’m a bit regret setting my ISO on 400, as you can see images become a little noisy, what you can’t do anything about, but that time, as I was without tripod, was only option to make more or less sharp image.
The guard is perfect attachment, making photograph proportional.

The final - December…probably my best and favourite, same Big Ben, but in the night shoot in the Bulb mode to allow strokes of passing traffic leave they marks. My intend for that time London trip was to try out some night photography, but unfortunately I field, I need to study and research more in this subject to produce willing result. And this photograph was the only one from night shoots, what some kind deserve to be shown.

In original its landscape format shoot, what end up being badly cropped by me to fit my calendar project.
Also in post-production was involved straightening, sharpening, contrast and focal B&W effects.

In the very end locking back I really pleased with my work. Its took me probably more time as I expected, but in real life time is the money, what we not always have.

So from this point my final two themes images is complete for Location Photography assignment. And as you can see, locations can be very various from each other. I'm very glad that I had a chance to go to the cost to make my Seascapes and also capture London in a short period of time. That work as advantage and give me good result.
